'Further to the message sent last week about the incident with the green car in Clevedon, I can inform you that following further investigations, I can categorically assure you that there are no safeguarding concerns relating to the distinctive green car.  It is also clear that there was a police vehicle adjacent to the area dealing with another incident and no concerns were raised.  The matter has been closed by the Police and the Clevedon Learning Trust are satisfied that there are no further concerns.  The Trust encourages the reporting of any safeguarding issues.'

'Further enquires have now been carried out following a report of a suspicious incident in Clevedon earlier this week and officers are satisfied that no criminal offences have been committed. We were investigating a report of a car stopping in Old Street on Wednesday afternoon (23 March), with the occupants speaking to two girls who were walking along the road. Neighbourhood officers have now spoken to all those involved. No further action will be taken and there is no risk to the public. We're aware of posts circulating on social media about this matter and would ask people not to share speculation or rumour.'
