Christmas Tree Sale to Raise School Funds
Clevedon Learning Trust children at an award-winning school to benefit from sale of real Christmas trees.
The Parent Teachers Association at Yeo Moor Primary School will be selling real Christmas trees to help raise money for even better facilities for their pupils.
Already in their sights are playground improvements, new library books and lunchtime toys.
Their new venture will be launched at the school’s Christmas Fair on Friday 1st December from 3.30pm till 5pm with a Santa’s grotto, Chocolate tombola, Christmas games, stalls and much more.
The high-achieving school has been winning awards and accolades because of its innovative curriculum and ability to inspire high achievement and wellbeing of children of all backgrounds and abilities.
It is part of the inspirational Clevedon Learning Trust.
PTA co-chair, Michelle Quincey said: "Everyone is excited that Christmas is just around the corner. This is the first time we have tried raising money through Christmas tree sales.
“We are hoping it will prove extremely popular so that we can make it an annual event that supports the school and its children."
The tree sale will be opened at the school's Christmas Fair on Friday, 01 December from 3.30pm – 5.00pm, and will continue on Saturday, 02 December from 9.00am – 12.00pm.
