Children at a high-performing Clevedon Learning Trust primary school are celebrating after winning two nominations for prestigious awards.
Yeo Moor Primary School has been nominated for two awards at the Achievement for All Celebrating Every Child conference in the categories of 'Inspiring Leadership' and 'Wider Outcomes'.
The school have been nominated for the 'Inspiring Leadership Award' because of the school's innovative approach to leadership.
Their 'Wider Outcomes Award nomination is because of their involvement of children in the garden project and engaging the community to secure funding and resources.
It is the latest bit of success for the high-performing school. It has rocketed to the top of the national performance league tables in recent years, after winning national awards.
And they just had a visit from The prestigious Regional Schools Commission (RSC) who have given the school a glow of endorsement for its winning methods, curriculum and leadership.
Head Teacher Roland Lovatt said: "We are so delighted to get these nominations. Pupils and staff work so hard, with enthusiasm and creativity, and it is good for this to be acknowledged by outside organisations."
Since joining the Outstanding Clevedon Learning Trust in 2014 Yeo Moor Primary School has rocketed up the performance league tables with a range of innovative measures.
