The tailored programmes are designed to provide staff with opportunities linked to their specific career-progression needs and aspirations. PGCE and School Direct trainees are supported in their professional development in school through our offer of school-based experiences, where they learn with and from teachers with a depth of experience. They are also invited to access the wider CSPD programme in their time at Clevedon School.
The structured NQT and RQT programmes are designed for NQTs and RQTs to be able to continue to learn from each other as well as with experienced colleagues. 1:1 coaching and mentoring is integrated into these programmes along with opportunities to observe teaching across all key stages and in other Clevedon Learning Trust schools. There is a mixture of developmental and formal observations, focused learning walks, collaborative planning, work scrutiny and opportunities to visit other schools and other phases.
New, aspiring and existing middle leaders can access a program of tailored sessions for where they can meet together and share practice and experiences.

- Lesson Observation, Coaching and Feedback
- Galvanising your team around your vision for learning
