West End Quality Production
More than 1000 people enjoy award-winning Clevedon School students’ incredible West End-quality Calamity Jane production - after tickets sold out five weeks early.
In an incredible show of demand from the community, tickets were sold out five weeks early for performances over three evenings.
There were also special VIP matinees for all the primary school pupils in the area.
The show involved more than 100 students who have been busy preparing over the last six months. The entire community including parents, businesses and retailers have all been part of the preparations.
Calamity Jane is the latest performance from Clevedon School’s award winning performing arts department.
Along with rare and unique regional award wins, its Director of Drama, Debbie Morgan won Teacher of the Year this year.
Head Teacher Jim Smith said: “Once again I’m incredibly proud of our students and everyone involved in this production. To sell out so many weeks before the performances demonstrates the community involvement and the huge respect that our West End quality shows have.”
