Students host Clevedon School's open evening

Hundreds of inspirational Clevedon School students hosted record numbers of prospective parents to their school Open Evening.

As well as hearing about academic success the school has achieved, students also put on singing and dancing performances of some of their West-End-quality musicals as prospective parents, grandparents and carers viewed the outstanding academy.

The popular, high-achieving school is now virtually oversubscribed for the first time in their history as parents prepare to choose their favoured school later this month.

Head of School Jim Smith said: "This was a wonderful night and fantastic to see so many students hosting all the parents.

"This is an exciting time for the school and the entire community, with so much interest and students performing so brilliantly across the curriculum."

Applications for secondary school places across the county have to be completed by October 31st
