Starting a writing revolution
A Clevedon Learning Trust student has started a campaign to make a 'writing revolution' by inspiring fellow students to write novels.
Year 10 Janey Little from Clevedon School has written her latest novel, a 60,000 word young adult story.
Now, as an English Ambassador for the school, she wants to round up other students to write their own books.
Over the years she has been writing a variety of different novels including fantasy and highly character-driven themes.
Clevedon School is a high-achieving Academy that is part of the Clevedon Learning Trust.
Janey said: "Reading and writing is my passion. My own big dream is to be an author. It would be wonderful to see other students writing their own books and novels."
Head of English Jo Carrington said: "Janey is an inspiration and a brilliant ambassador for the school and for English in general. She will go far."
