New Play Equipment

Pupils at a Clevedon Learning Trust  primary school are enjoying their £2,000 popular new play equipment.

The 380 lucky children at St Nicholas’ Chantry now have a variety of new markings and play equipment that are proving extremely popular and excellent for outdoor exercise.

The Friends of St Nicks have been working with the children's school council to enhance the playgrounds with a range of fundraising events including  quiz nights, discos, a Christmas fair and fun run.

The playground work is phase two of a bigger project to make the children’s playtime experience one of the best around.

Head Teacher of St Nicholas’ Chantry Peter Treasure-Smith said: "This playground equipment is incredibly popular. We want to say thank you to the Friends of St Nicks and all the parents and members of the community that have supported this.”
