Clevedon Scarecrow Trail
Hundreds of Clevedon children and families can have fun during a scarecrow trail that is running now until 10th June.
The Friends of Yeo Moor Primary School are running the fun adventure trail with 21 scarecrows to find around the town.
The scarecrows - all based on characters from a children’s book or a symbol of the book - have all been made by parents and carers of children at Yeo Moor.
There are prizes for the best scarecrow and funds will go forwards the school.
Head teacher Roland Lovett said: “This is a fantastic fun event for children and families across Clevedon. There are some wonderful creations and it is all going to a great cause. It is hoped we can make this an annual event.”
Participants buy trail maps(only £2 each) to help them find the scarecrows and then enter the number of each scarecrow on the form provided (against the name of the correct character) which they return to be entered into the prize draw.
The Scarecrow Trail is open to the public; some friendly independent shops in Clevedon - The Pet Pantry, Wilfred & Alice and Ziggy are selling the trail maps.
