CHILDREN at a high-performing Clevedon Learning Trust primary school have won another prestigious award.
Yeo Moor Primary School won the 'Wider Outcomes' award at the Achievement for All Celebrating Every Child conference for their work involving children in their planning and funding of their inspiring garden project.
This week pupils, staff and governors celebrated their win outside in their picturesque school.
It is the latest bit of success for the high-performing school. It has rocketed to the top of the national performance league tables in recent years, after winning national awards.
And they just had a visit from The prestigious Regional Schools Commission (RSC) who have given the school a glow of endorsement for its winning methods, curriculum and leadership.
Assistant Head Teacher Tor Zakaria said: "We were extremely proud to win the Wider Outcomes Award at the Celebrating Every Child Awards. It is great that the children, families and staff have received recognition for going that extra mile for the young people at Yeo Moor Primary School. We continue to provide support and opportunities for all the children at Yeo Moor to excel and achieve their potential."
Since joining the Clevedon Learning Trust in 2014 Yeo Moor Primary School has rocketed up the performance league tables with a range of innovative measures.
