£2,120 raised for Bristol Children’s Hospital
Each school house at Mary Elton Primary School have chosen a charity to support over the year and pupils at Mary Elton have been busy raising money in the school’s first ever charity week.
Pier house organised various fun activities including designing and colouring your own Gromit, a lunchtime film club, wrong trousers day and a ‘Lego Brick Road’ walk, all to raise valuable funds for Bristol Children’s Hospital’s ‘Grand Appeal’.
The School raised £2,120 - with some money still to come in!
Head of Pier House, Sarah Jones said that she was, ‘completely amazed by the amount of money raised,’ adding, ‘we never hoped to raise anywhere near that amount. I’d just like to thank the School Community for their support and kind generosity’.
