Leadership Team

John Wells, CEO

John is an experienced headteacher and National Leader of Education with over 20 years experience of taking schools on their journey to Outstanding. He mentors and coaches MAT leaders, headteachers, working with secondary and primary schools across the region in his role as a School Improvement Adviser.  

Zoë Elder, Director of Education

Zoë  is a published author, national trainer, coach and keynote speaker who works with schools around the UK. She is a former Senior LA Adviser and Senior Leader with experience in all phases of schools. She leads the CLT school improvement and Learning Hub development programmes, building professional capacity through our collaborative partnerships and bespoke leadership training and action research programmes.

Matthew Pinnock, Director of Finance and Operations
Matthew has a background of advising a number of multi academy trusts, of various sizes across the South West. He brings a wealth of financial expertise as a qualified chartered accountant and works within the team to ensure value for money is achieved across the Clevedon Learning Trust.

 

Ann Walsh, HR Manager

Ann has 28 years HR experience within the public sector and has spent the last nine years providing pragmatic and solution focused  HR support to primary and secondary schools.  

Rhona Allgood, Project Manager

Rhona's background is in chemical engineering. More recently she has used her project leadership skills to ensure schools make a seamless transition through the academisation process. She also has extensive school governance and MAT director experience.

Heather Good, Primary Lead 

Heather is an experienced Headteacher, Local Leader of Education and National Pupil Premium Reviewer. She has been a Headteacher for 18 years with experience of schools in challenging circumstances and with specialist resource provision. She has supported many schools with school improvement strategies, leadership coaching and staff development.
