John Wells, Executive Headteacher

John is an experienced headteacher and National Leader of Education with over 20 years experience of taking schools on their journey to Outstanding. He mentors and coaches MAT leaders, headteachers, working with secondary and primary schools across the region in his role as a School Improvement Adviser.  

Zoë Elder, Director of Education

Zoë  is a published author, national trainer, coach and keynote speaker who works with schools around the UK. She is a former Senior LA Adviser and Senior Leader with experience in all phases of schools. She leads the CLT school improvement and Learning Hub development programmes, building professional capacity through our collaborative partnerships and bespoke leadership training and action research programmes.

Dave Bishop, Business Manager

Dave joined Clevedon School in 2003 following 20 years with the National Westminster Bank. During his time as Business Manager Dave has seen the move from local authority school to stand alone academy to latterly, Multi Academy Trust. His main areas of responsibility are all matter financial, including all statutory returns, budgeting and procurement. In addition Dave looks after estates management and development, including health and safety.

Ann Walsh, HR Manager

Ann Walsh  has 28 years HR experience within the public sector and has spent the last nine years providing pragmatic and solution focused  HR support to primary and secondary schools.  In addition to her role within the Clevedon Learning Trust,  Ann manages the schools HR service delivered by the LA to schools across North Somerset. She has a BSc degree in Sociology and Law, a Postgraduate Diploma in Human Resource Management and is a fellow member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel Development.

Rhona Allgood, Project Manager

Rhona's background is in chemical engineering. More recently she has used her project leadership skills to ensure schools make a seamless transition through the academisation process. She also has extensive school governance and MAT director experience.
